Wonky Candles

Wonky Candles is a family business. It was set up around PJ (aka Mr Wonky) who first made candles on holiday and found it was something he enjoyed and was good at.

PJ’s Brother, Tom while on furlough during the pandemic decided to test Wonky Candles growth capacity and take it from being a small business run as a hobby in Mum, Helen’s kitchen to a profitable business.

The brother’s are now Directors of Wonky Candles, both have disabilities but they are absolute proof that disability need not be a barrier to success.

Wonky Candles aim to be as eco friendly as possible and use 100% soy wax and vegan fragrances. All of their wax products are hand made with love by this hardworking family business.

Wonky Candles long-term plan is hire others with disabilities especially those that have struggled in regular employment and give them a positive experience and show them that although their skills may not suit others, they will fit in with Wonky Candles.
