Grace’s Generation Soap

Amelie and her mum Sue, decided a number of years ago that they would give home made presents as gifts, keen not to contribute to plastic waste and to protect the environment. Amelie wanted to make something which had no palm oil, no plastic, and no chemical ingredients, she wanted a product which was as pure as it could be.

When Amelie was younger she watched television programmes about the environment and the impact we are having on it. She knew there had to be change and wanted to be part of it. There were things in the documentaries which changed Amelie’s views forever, the impact of seeing humans devastating wild animals habitats and demolishing vast quantities of the worlds trees, left Amelie feeling very upset.

Recognising the use of Palm oil which is found in so many everyday products and people being unaware of the devastation palm forest deforestation causes Amelie wanted to create products which didn’t use it.

Amelie’s dream was to open a shop promoting environmentally friendly everyday items with her Mum. This was the beginning of Graces Generation Soaps.

Sue and Amelie worked hard to gain their Cosmetic Certification, and were successful in this. Amelie said ‘Our company is existing because we are passionate about saving this generation and others to come’.

Amelie and Sue’s soaps are very popular with our customers, and all of us.
