The Challenging Behaviour Foundation

One of the things I am involved with when I am not working on the enterprise is The Challenging Behaviour Foundation, please follow the link to find out more about it - https://www.challengingbehaviour.org.uk

It is a brilliant charity which supports parents and carers who have a child (can be an adult child) in their care who has behaviour which challenges. They focus on giving up to date and current information and sharing their extensive knowledge, Sharing best practice and strategic influencing.

The CBF for my family is the only national charity there is which supports people who have autism and complex needs, and they do terrific work. Along with all the above they support families who are experiencing extremely difficult situations, run training both for parents and professionals and provide an online forum and carers chat’s to support and for parents and carers to support one another.

I run an online carers chat group called Carers Catch Up for them every other Monday. We have a friendly group of carers and always welcome new faces. There is also a Facebook group, The CBF Family Forum.

Please do take a look at their website if you are interested, they are absolutely committed to helping families and changing things.
